Thuesday was the Graduation day of Margrethe-Skolen in the Rådhuspladsen (City Hall) in Copenhagen. 15 students of the school were presenting their final projects in an original and creative catwalk full of colors and different styles. The 15 graduates there were: Asta Bang, Nicole Jones, Sofie Topsøe Mailand, Maria Celeste, Sissell Gustavsen, Amalie Flye, Charlotte Biune, Sarah Stampe Lund, Josephine Pontoppidan Nissen, Sara Maj Karlson, Sofie Sol, Artiom Antonov, Kirsten Thyra Henriksen, Olivia Kvist Koppel and Louise Lyngh Bjerregaard.
Keep in mind all these names because they are the future of the Fashion Design. All of them presented innovative designs breaking with the conventionalism of the fast fashion industry. For all of them garments are not just adornments but something that tells who you are. So they are ready to be the voice of the new generation of designers that you should now, because they will make a lot of noise!

Thursday was the day of REVOLVER festival and as every year, some of the best Scandinavian brands were presented in a Fair that has every year more renown in the fashion industry. Every season I discover new brands and new interesting collections. I like to go around the fair and get to know the designers and talk to them about their brands. There are every year more brands that work with sustainability and fair trade, so it’s good to know them in advance and be able to spread their word around.
There are some of them that are regular and you can see their collections before they launch them to the big public so this is such an exciting moment for me! Because I can see the fabrics and the prints in first hand and I can even tray them! So, Getonthetrend will be in Revolver next winter too and I am already looking forward to it! Have an amazing day all of you.
